On September 9, 10, 11 and 12, our European Projects team traveled to Athens, Greece, to participate in the Training of Trainers and the 3rd transnational meeting of the DigiBuild project , which seeks to promote the digitalization of the green sector in Latin America and, specifically, in Costa Rica and Honduras.

Training of Trainers

The Training of Trainers (TBT) event began on September 8th at the EUROTraining facilities in Athens. Participants attended two separate sessions: one dedicated to the European Green Deal and its implications for the green sector, and another on the digital tools currently used in Europe.

The second training day began with a visit to the Agricultural University of Athens, where participants learned about various experiments currently underway. Following the visit, the day continued with a theoretical and practical session on the adaptation of European best practices to the Latin American context and the presentation of other European projects.

Following the completion of the training of trainers, the third transnational meeting of the DigiBuild project began on September 10th. During the first day of the meeting, the partners made progress in organizing the following activities in Costa Rica and Honduras, including national training for green sector professionals and other trainers.

Finally, on September 12, the partners said their goodbyes after the final day of the meeting in Athens. During this final session, guidelines were established for continuing to implement the project and ensure its quality , as well as strengthening the dissemination and sustainability strategy .
